On Saturday the house was getting ready to commence their weekly deep clean of the house. Before we began there was a surprise visit from Isaac an alumni. He has graduated the program and moved in to his own place. Isaac has two jobs and had not received a day off in over two weeks. He surprisingly found out that he had the day off and said that he thought it would be a great idea to spend that day with the B2B residents. Isaac knows that on every Saturday the residents do a deep clean of the house and he wanted to show up and help. Isaac helped clean and hung out all the way through dinner. Isaac also tried his best to share his experience, strength and hope with our newest resident who is still struggling very hard with his addiction. It was amazing to see this young man spend his only day off in two weeks to be of service to the place that helped him become a sober productive member of society, and helping those who are in the same position that he once was.
