Aftercare Program for Young Men in Recovery - Flagstaff, AZ

Our aftercare program is the long-term support system, accountability structure, and recovery community that young men need after completing residential treatment. Designed for alumni and graduates of other programs, Back2Basics aftercare delivers process groups, recovery coaching, and relapse prevention from Flagstaff and virtually nationwide.

What Our Aftercare Program Looks Like After Rehab

Completing treatment isn’t the end of the recovery journey—it’s a new beginning. At Back2Basics, our Aftercare Program helps young men maintain momentum, avoid relapse, and grow in sobriety as they transition into independent life.

Our aftercare services are designed for men who want continued connection, structure, and support after completing residential treatment or sober living—whether through Back2Basics or another program.

Where Aftercare Fits in Our Continuum of Care

Recovery isn’t a one-size-fits-all journey. Back2Basics offers a structured continuum — residential treatment, sober living, and aftercare — designed specifically for young men with chronic relapse patterns. Most clients begin with residential treatment and transition into our aftercare program as they rebuild independence.

Why Continuing Care Matters for Long-Term Sobriety

Recovery doesn’t stop when formal treatment ends. The real test of sobriety often begins when clients leave the structure of a program and face real-world pressures: work, school, family, relationships, triggers, and stress.

Experiences Shared by Our Clients

Back2Basics saved my life and helped me to become my old self again. When I showed up I was scared, sad, and going through withdrawals. The staff were so understanding and empathetic and taught me coping strategies to regulate myself and get through the hard part while reassuring me that I was right where I needed to be.

As a nurse and professional in the behavioral health field, I have been deeply impressed by the work being done at Back 2 Basics. The program provides young men with a rare combination of opportunities—healing, practical life skills, and the stability that is often missing in their lives.

Our son reached the 4 Year sober mark in July (2025)! Don't want to think about where he/we would be without B2B! Fighting his Fentanyl addiction with 30 day 'clinical' facilities was not working...like sooo many have figured out. B2Bs model of not only working through the obvious detox and therapy needs but adding that critical piece of introducing these young men to how to live as a sober person was/is the game changer.
