New Year… New Me

Table of Contents

This year will be my first year sober in a long time. Ever since I was 13 I have not spent a year/month sober. My New Year’s resolution is to stay strong and remain sober for as long as possible. I expect myself to go through with this resolution rather than just giving up. I know 100% that I can do it if I live my life day by day. Another day sober is a blessing and I have come to find that out here at Back2Basics. I hope also in the year of 2018 to be more involved with my family considering that I chopped them out of my life prior to my stay here at B2B. I want to make amends to all of my family who I have treated wrongly. I want to be way more of a family man than I have been in the past. Another thing I want to work on is how I treat people. I have a very aggressive attitude when I talk to people and I tend to get physical if I do not like what they are saying. I hope to lose my bad habits and to fix the past bad relationships I’ve had with my peers for the better. 2018 will be a way better year than prior years and I am happy to admit that I will be sober for most of it.
