I’ve never been very artistic in any sense, but I’ve always found it interesting. Having art class while on this Mexico trip has been a lot of fun. Our teacher, Laurie was really cool. In the past when I have tried to draw or paint I would get frustrated if my picture wasn’t perfect I also had a hard time figuring out what to draw or paint Lauri helped me with both. She had a really unique way of getting the creative part of my brain working, by asking questions like ‘What kind of paintings do you like?’ that really helped me figure out what I liked and wanted to paint. When I was getting frustrated with how it looked, she was amazing at helping and giving good advice about what to do. All in all it has been really fun and a great learning experience.
