Grand Canyon Youth is a not for profit organization that provides an opportunity for young under-privileged children for an experience of a lifetime. They go on weekly trips with volunteer river rafting guides that provide a service to these young kids who have for the most part never gone camping, let alone river rafting.
What Back2Basics does for the Grand Canyon Youth is provide volunteer service to prepare for upcoming trips and clean-up from previous trips. What we do is really important and vital to the success of Grand Canyon Youth in helping more and more youngsters obtain this experience. The entrust us with restocking medical kits, clean and wash the equipment, etc. It is all about helping out so these kids have a great first experience and want to come back to do it again.
