Hannah Hot Springs Our most recent adventure as recounted by a client journalist:

Hey there B2B families, this is the other client T filling you in on our most recent outdoor adventure! Our journey began with what I imagine was a beautiful 7 hour drive. In truth, I really don’t know how it was since I slept the whole ride. However, I can honestly tell you that the destination was quite stunning.

We started off with a 4 mile push to our first camp. Out of those 4 miles, probably 1.5 was spent wading through the stream. Despite the rather cold water temperature, we all made it to camp with fairly positive attitudes. The following morning, client A was dismayed when he discovered he had slept on a fire ant nest. Thankfully, nobody had been devoured by fire ants while they slept.

After the troops were rallied, we pushed about 3 miles to our next campsite. We found a scenic meadow filled with cottonwoods. We took a few hours to eat and regain our energy before going on a night hike to the Hannah Hot Springs. Although they weren’t as hot as the name would suggest, we all appreciated the opportunity to experience a natural executive workout. On the way back to camp, some of us spotted a few bark scorpions. That’s when I realized I probably should have brought a tent. Fortunately, my concern was for naught.

The next day was by far the most mentally and physically challenging day of our trip. It began with knocking large spiders out of my shoes and a diamondback rattlesnake sighting. Definitely a less than ideal way to start the day. After that hectic beginning, we hiked a total of 10 miles – 7 back to the van and a bonus 3 mile hike to a nearby peak. Needless to say, we were all thrilled to finally get to our final destination. We all passed out pretty early that night.

On Wednesday morning, we woke up and immediately began our journey home. Shockingly, I can’t tell you how that drive was either since I was conscious for less than ten minutes of it; however, I can say we were all relieved to finally get back to Hunter House. Well, that’s all folks. Just another spectacular outdoor adventure here at B2B! I’m excited for the many more to come.

Until next time,
The other Client T
