This last trip, we went on a group solo. A solo is basically a trip where we all get set up in different spots by our selves and we all chill by ourselves. It is time for us to self-reflect on our past, present, and future. The solo is really good for me because I tend to think about everyone else’s situation’s rather than mine. It was a good time to sit with my own shit and deal with it mentally and emotionally. It’s hard to think about my part in situations because I always can’t seem to find my part in situations. I really liked having some alone time too. Although it got boring sometimes, I still managed to get a lot out of my solo which was super cool because I tend to get bored. My therapist gave me a couple assignments which included working on my character defects and what it means to be a friend. Altogether I thought the solo was very productive to my recovery and I think it’s great that B2B assigns us to solos.
