The outdoor component of Back2Basics gives our clients an opportunity to explore nature and themselves in ways they never thought possible. We are able to give them the opportunity to get outside and see a different part of the world that they never knew existed. Through hiking, backpacking, rafting, kayaking, climbing and many other experiences, growth can come in many different forms. The feeling of accomplishment from completing an activity is something many have never experienced before. Drugs and alcohol have clouded their thoughts and actions for so long that they have forgotten how to feel self worth and pride without using. A better understanding of ourselves can be achieved through our struggles to succeed in life. Here is a quote that I really enjoy.
