About Roy

Roy DuPrez founded Back2Basics in 2010 to offer young men an immersive, structured, and deeply human recovery experience. With a background in counseling psychology and a commitment to youth development, Roy has shaped Back2Basics into a nationally respected program.

Roy has worked with young adults across Flagstaff community organizations. As a hands-on leader, he mentors clients personally and invests in every aspect of program integrity.

His philosophy: lasting recovery happens when young men are challenged, supported, and surrounded by a community that believes in their potential.
