My favorite thing about our daily routine is the fact that we get the privilege of going to the gym each morning. I have some weightless goals and power lifting goals that I would like to meet. I was lifting weights for my first couple months and now I’m doing cardio and ab routines, along with playing racquetball for agility. I have been playing racquetball since I was a young child. My dad got me playing at one of the first gyms I ever went to then in high school. I got competitive playing some tournaments and playing on Mondays, Wednesdays and sometimes Fridays. It was a busy schedule but really rewarding. To have racquetball here at B2B was a huge surprise to me. It has been fun getting competitive with the other guys and teaching them some skills as well. In addition, I play wallyball (indoor volleyball) with the guys and that is really fun and can get pretty crazy and intense. It’s awesome because so many of the guys can play at once and while it breeds intense competition between us, we all have fun and enjoy the physical activity and great exercise.
The exercise program at B2B as I shared above has not only helped me, but it has helped so many of the other guys as well. This physical outlet gives us something to focus on, to set goals for ourselves, and a place where we can spend our energy without getting caught up in our thoughts. The routine of exercising every morning it starting to show me how to take care of myself one day at a time.
