Spanish –
One of the many highlights of the trip has been the Spanish class with Juan, the class was fun because we learned practical Spanish that we could use to order food or say hello to someone, we weren’t trying to become fluent in it so it took a lot of stress out of it! But Spanish was only part of it. Juan also took us out for cultural experiences we would go into Zihuatanejo and explore the old fishing village. It was awesome! Some of the things we experienced were things like the Sunday gathering in the town center or the beach front and fishing boats along the pier. The gathering on Sunday was incredible, All the vendors go and they have some sort of event, on time it was a talent show of sorts another was a pageant for who would represent the town at the carnival. It was just such a different experience seeing a lot of the town come together for things like that. I had a lot of fun and am glad I got to see that.
