Change has been an important part of my program. In the past, change in any form has been intimidating and helped to keep me in the never ending loop of my addiction.

Coming halfway across the U.S where I know nobody or anything about my surroundings was an extremely difficult decision. Changing everything I thought I knew about myself and being open to new ideas was a daunting task. At this point I have learned not to fear change and to embrace it. Without change, I would’ve been stuck in active addiction forever.
