My six months have been a wild roller-coaster ride. I came in being super fake and telling wild stories that were made up. Came to learn that I don’t need to do that here. People truly accept you for who you are and want the best for you. I have turned a huge page now and am moving on to ‘Transition’ (Beyond the Basics) on Monday.
Beyond the Basics is an additional six-month program that follows Back2Basics and helps clients transition into real life. I’ll be moving into a different house with other clients in this phase of the program and who are learning how to take ownership of living sober and committing to their sobriety success. You know they want it because Beyond the Basics is not mandatory. Clients have to apply and really express the desire to want to continue on this path. It brings together like-minded men with the same goal to achieve life-long sobriety.
